As project logistics professionals, we don’t overcome obstacles; we anticipate them.

OIA Global’s project logistics team works to overcome bridges, narrow roads, and countless other obstacles to transport unique or oversized cargo. Project logistics teammates regularly complete both in gauge cargo handling, like road freight, and out-of-guage cargo handling, such as breakbulk ocean chartering.

Success in project logistics truly depends on excellent planning and careful execution. Teammates develop route plans, method statements, and risk assessments so that all potential scenarios are considered, and plans remain adaptable. We work to ensure the safety of all personnel, cargo, and equipment involved in your shipment.

Reminder: De Minimis Exemption for Low-Value Parcels Now Void.

The de minimis exemption for low-value parcels is officially void, as of August 27th, 2025. The de minimis rule allowed goods valued at $800 or less to enter the United States duty-free and with minimal customs oversight.

400+ New Products Now Subject to Section 232 Steel & Aluminum Tariffs

As of August 18th at 12:01 AM (EST), 400+ new products are now subject to Section 232 steel and aluminum tariffs, impacting both raw materials and derivatives.

The extended list now covers goods such as motorcycles, baby gear, auto parts, and chemicals. The changes did not exclude goods already in transit to the U.S.
