Sustainability at OIA

Our sustainability commitments and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives

OIA Global envisions a better world in service to the environment, our employees, customers, and communities

We take a holistic approach to the supply chain, recognizing that sustainability begins with ethical materials, is refined in packaging, and continues throughout transportation management.

OIA’s emissions targets include:

  • Reduce Scope 1 emissions by 42%, from 135 MT of CO2e in 2022, by 2025.
  • Reduce Scope 2 emissions by 42%, from 709.5 MT of CO2e in 2022, by 2030.
  • Reduce Scope 3 emissions by 42%, from 521,045 MT of CO2e in 2022, by 2030.

Well-to-wheel Carbon Reporting

OIA Global’s carbon reporting is done “well-to-wheel,” meaning the measurements reflect all aspects of the supply chain, including emissions related to fuel production, processing, distribution, and use

OIA adopted EcoTransIT World and the Clean Cargo methodology because they’re accredited by Smart Freight Centre (SFC) and conform to the GLEC Framework, a globally recognized methodology for harmonized calculation and reporting of GHG emissions in multi-modal supply chains.
