• O una Certificación ISCC que garantice la procedencia del reciclado químico

En conclusión, a partir del 1/1/2024, los importadores o adquirientes, precisarán que sus proveedores y fabricantes de terceros países, les faciliten alguna de las certificaciones anteriormente mencionadas para acogerse a la exención del impuesto y evitar incurrir en infracciones tributarias.

La cantidad de plástico no reciclado se continuará indicando en la factura comercial, en el packing list o certificación del importador.

CUSTOMS INFORMATION UPDATE: DECLARATION OF NON-REUSABLE PLASTICS ON CUSTOM’S IMPORT DECLARATIONS

We inform you that, as of January 1, 2024, the accreditation of recycled plastic can only be accredited through one of the following certifications, as established in article 77, point 3 of Law 7/2022 on waste and contaminated soils for a circular economy.

UNE EN 153343 Certification: “plastics. recycled plastics. Traceability and conformity assessment of plastic recycling and recycled content.

• Or an ISCC Certification that guarantees the origin of chemical recycling

In conclusion, as of 1/1/2024, importers or purchasers will require that their suppliers and manufacturers in third countries provide them with some of the certifications to benefit from the tax exemption and avoid incurring tax violations.

The amount of non-recycled plastic will continue to be indicated on the commercial invoice, in the packing list or importer’s certification.
