Thirteen privately owned race teams needed to safely deliver 27 cars—worth more than USD $3 million—to the Circuit of the Americas race track in Austin, Texas. All cars, associated equipment, and parts had to be returned to Germany within 72 hours after the race. The timing was everything! Even minor delays could have been disastrous.
