LDI LTD., LLC, a private holding company in Indianapolis interested in distribution and logistics, announced today that it has recapitalized and acquired majority control of Portland-based Oregon International Air Freight Co. and OIA Global Logistics-SCM, Inc. (Collectively “OIA”). OIA is a leading international provider of logistics services, including freight forwarding, supply chain management, turn-key contract warehousing, and packaging.
OIA Global has provided logistics services to Fortune 500 companies and middle-market businesses for over 20 years. Junki Yoshida, OIA’s founder and Chairman, said OIA’s continued focus on enhancing and expanding its services to its customers was a major factor in forging the relationship with LDI.

We are always looking for ways to enhance the profitability of our customers—whether they are Fortune 500 companies or middle market businesses. LDI has a long-term strategy that matches perfectly with our vision for growth,” Yoshida said.
Andre Lacy, LDI’s Chairman, noted Yoshida’s lifetime of building successful businesses:
“Mr. Yoshida has developed a solid team of innovative problem-solvers who thrive on providing flexible, precise, cost-effective logistics and supply chain services. They get things right. Their world-class attention to detail in providing a full array of logistics services helps their customers win. We look forward to continued excellence, new ideas, success for their customers and growth from OIA.”
Yoshida will continue as OIA’s Chairman. Logistics industry veteran Charles Hornecker will join the company as CEO.
