The U.S. Court of International Trade will allow importers to pursue a class-action lawsuit against now-defunct IEEPA tariffs. This would allow a broader range of businesses to obtain refunds, ensuring that all importers who paid the invalidated tariffs have a pathway to reimbursement.
Since September 18th, 2026, U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) voids the importer of record (IOR) number of any importer or broker that fails to provide complete and accurate identity information.
