Warehouse Manager - Hebron, KY

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overall management and performance of our facility including office and warehouse operations, customer relations, quality, and security. You will also be accountable for achievement of financial objectives, productivity standards, and safety requirements. Additionally, you will support hiring, training, development, and disciplinary measures for warehouse staff. This position will provide guidance on ways to improve and streamline processes and systems while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide a hands-on approach in the scheduling of personnel and directing of warehouse day-to-day activities to include order filling, stocking, shipping, receiving, and inventory control
  • Manage and develop warehouse personnel by monitoring and providing feedback on work flow, performance, and standards for accuracy and productivity
  • Perform and ensure proper documentation for employee appraisals and reviews, progressive discipline issues, and employee terminations
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing proactive and timely service and maintaining strong relationships to ensure retention
  • Ensure all warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform distribution functions efficiently
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective operation and utilization of the facility
  • Maintain warehouse security, safety programs, and good operation and maintenance of warehouse power equipment, workers' compensation reporting and all OSHA local and state regulations
  • Adhere to budget requirements and ensure the facility is meeting objectives and performance goals
  • Maintain complete and open lines of communication between the warehouse and corporate office to facilitate efficient warehouse operation


  • 5+ years management experience in a distribution/fulfillment facility
  • Experience implementing and following retailer compliance procedures
  • Knowledge of LTL, UPS and other forms of transportation, with automation preferred
  • Strong leadership, team building, communication, and customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to function autonomously and use good judgment in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Logistics preferred
