Charlie Hornecker CEO |
Most recently, Mr. Hornecker worked with a Private Equity Group as the President of Market Transport Services, a $400 Million revenue third-party logistics services company. Charlie within three years was instrumental in more than tripling Market Transport Services revenue through acquisitions and organic growth and facilitating the repositioning of the company from primarily a truck load carrier operating on the west coast into a leading single source logistics provider of third-party services and multi-modal transportation capacity solutions operating across North America. Market Transport Services was acquired by a publicly held $3 Billion dollar revenue international logistics provider returning more than 6.5X to Market's shareholders.
Prior to joining Market Transport Services, Charlie was the Senior Vice President (COO) of Triton Aviation Services Limited, a Bermuda based aircraft lessor formed in 1996. Charlie was instrumental in growing TASL, a start-up commercial passenger aircraft lessor and 747 cargo conversion freighter aircraft lessor to over $1 billion in assets with operations in 23 countries.
Prior to joining Triton Aviation Services Limited, Charlie held various executive level positions with Triton Container International Limited, the largest ocean container leasing company in the world and until recently, was one of the largest portable storage and mobile office solutions in the United States.
Charlie holds an economics degree from the University of Oregon and a MBA from Golden Gate University.

Steve Akre Founder, EVP Business Development |
Steve Akre co-founded Oregon International Airfreight (OIA) in 1988 with Junki Yoshida. Under Mr. Akre's leadership, OIA Global Logistics has implemented numerous international and global logistics programs including a fully automated Portland-based RF distribution warehouse, a global raw material supply chain linking material suppliers and factories across eight countries and a dedicated international procurement program. Additionally, Mr. Akre was instrumental in securing regular and routine cargo flights from both Korean Air and China Air to Portland International Airport and the U.S. West Coast. Mr. Akre served on the Governor's Oregon Business Planning Steering Committee and attended Portland State University.

Eric Okimoto Executive VP Global Operations

Eric Okimoto has over 20 years of freight forwarding and supply chain experience and is currently OIA's Executive Vice President of Operations. Mr. Okimoto was instrumental in cultivating OIA's strong international business relationships and implementing the company's global network of agents and partners. He has been a driving force behind OIA's recent international acquisitions and global expansion. Mr. Okimoto graduated from the University of Hawaii with a degree in Political Science. He spent 6 years with the Fritz Companies, which was later acquired by UPS, and 10 years with DHL Airways. He has been a licensed customs broker since 1987 . Mr. Okimoto has extensive knowledge of business in Asia and travels frequently to all major locations.

Dante Fornari VP of Global Sales
|
Mr. Fornari recently joined OIA with over 20 years of diverse experience in the Logistics and Freight Forwarding industry, including direct sales, sales leadership, operations, shared services and customer care. Prior to joining OIA, Mr. Fornari worked for Agility Global Integrated Logistics as Vice President, Global Account Operations. Dante lead the coordinated global efforts to manage, maintain and grow Agility's core Global Account Program. This included the development and implementation of a VIP Customer Care Center in Chennai, India. Dante spent the great majority of his career at BAX Global, where Dante was a member of the Executive Committee during a 4-year, $200 million turnaround. In 13 total years at BAX, Dante served as Vice President Sales Planning & Support, Vice President Sales Americas, Vice President Global Customer Operations and Senior Vice President West Region and Shared Services. Dante is active in his community, serving as a member of the Transportation Advisory Committee to the Gresham City Council and President of the Deer Glen HOA. Dante holds a degree in Environmental Economics from Rutgers University and has a Certification in Finance from Harvard Business School-Executive Education.

Paul Wogan CIO
|
Paul Wogan has over 20 years of freight forwarding and supply chain information technology experience. After attending the Erasmus University in Rotterdam pursuing a degree in Economics, Mr. Wogan went to work at an ocean liner as an assistant controller. As times and methods evolved, he developed a keen interest in technology and began developing logistics and international freight forwarding applications in the Netherlands. Since that time he completed his formal IT education, developed an international freight forwarding application and launched his own company in Canada serving IT needs for freight forwarders in Europe, Canada and the United States. In 2007, Mr. Wogan came to OIA after serving as a senior IT management position at Con-way. Paul has been instrumental in architecting a technology roadmap for OIA and building a strong IT team to deliver global information solutions to OIA and its customers. Mr. Wogan holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.

Daniel McMorris VP Global Business Development |
Daniel McMorris is in charge of coordinating Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Solutions and Customer Service functions for OIA. Since joining OIA in 2003, Mr. McMorris has been successful in driving growth initiatives for the supply chain management team including warehousing, transportation, packaging and freight and is now focused on coordinating this effort across the entire organization. Prior to OIA, Mr. McMorris worked for Johnson & Johnson's McNeil Consumer and Specialty Pharmaceuticals where he was on the brand management teams for Tylenol® products and St. Joseph® aspirin. He holds a MBA from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza School of Business and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.

Tim Sether Chief Financial Officer

Tim Sether has been with the company since 1991 as an accounting manager in the early days to his present position as Chief Financial Officer. As the senior finance executive of OIA, he oversees all accounting operations, both domestic and international, tax and regulatory activities, worldwide audit management and he maintains valuable relationships with the company’s financing sources. Mr. Sether actively engages in all finance-related senior management discussions and negotiations as they pertain to vendors and key-customers as well as the related contracts. He sits on the Board of Directors of both OIA Manuport and OIA Thailand. Mr. Sether received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from Concordia University. He maintains an active Certified Public Accountant’s license in Oregon.

Peter Wong Managing Director Asia Pacific |
Peter Wong has 23 years experience in the logistics industry and is a specialist in emerging markets in Southeast Asia. He was the president of a Singapore-based logistics company for 10 years before joining OIA in 2001. Mr. Wong is currently the Managing Director Asia Pacific for OIA.

Anthony Tam Vice President East Region |
Anthony Tam has extensive bilateral China/ U.S. trade and logistics experience. While living in Hong Kong, he served as a sales executive for Pan American Airways and W.T. Air Cargo Ltd. In 1987 he founded his own logistics company and later relocated to New York to manage and grow the U.S. side of the operations. In 2001, Mr. Tam joined OIA and is currently the Vice President for the U.S. East Region.

Francis Lui Managing Director Hong Kong / China |
Francis Lui brings over 30 years of freight forwarding, international trade, transportation, and operations experience to OIA. He has extensive knowledge of China and Hong Kong gateways. Mr. Lui established his own company in 1985 and successfully grew the business before joining OIA in 2001.
