To meet international safety concerns, OIA earned C-TPAT certification in 2003, well ahead of U.S. Customs & Border Protection timing guidelines.

 

ISO 9001:2000 Certified
In 2000, OIA was granted the ISO 9001:2000 certification by the International Organization for Standardization for processes geared to enhance Quality Management. This certification means that OIA is recognized for its processes 1) to fulfill the customer’s quality requirements, 2) to meet applicable regulatory requirements, 3) to achieve customer satisfaction, and 4) for continual process improvements.

 

CNS ENDORSED
OIA is endorsed by CNS, an International Air Transport Association (IATA) Company. This means that OIA has direct access to the most recent information and regulations concerning the movement of cargo throughout the world.

 

FMC/NVOCC Licensed
In 1994, OIA was officially licensed as a Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) by the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC).

 

CHB Licensed
In 1993, OIA was granted license to operate as a Customs House Broker by U.S. Customs & Border Protection.

 

IMDG/CFR49 Hazmat
OIA is fully trained to be compliant with all U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) and International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations concerning new security rules for the movement and handling of hazardous material shipments.
